I just wanted to send you a quick note of thanks for doing my breast reduction. I saw the insurance payout and realize now just how badly they treat the surgeon. Even though you don’t get any financial reimbursement, I’m glad you took my case. I can now run comfortably and have the confidence to wear sleeveless shirts to school. Most importantly, when I play Dance Dance Revolution, I jump around and don’t fall over from centrifugal force. My confidence has gone through the roof, and my back doesn’t hurt anymore. I wish I could do more, but thank you so much for doing this for me.

Summer has been great! I was by the pool for the past two weeks and never felt better. I was able to show up at the community poolside feeling great and….wearing my 2 piece Swimsuit!! Dr. Gallas did wonderful work in sculpting my body and now I have my self-esteem in the summer. Dr. Gallas promised a safe and effective “tummy-tuck” procedure – its true. Thanks to Dr. Gallas and his team. Have a great summer! Mine is.

Dr. John Mendelsohn,
The past 2 1/2 years have been a challenging journey with cancer for me. I am so glad that I sought MDACC for my treatment. The fantastic team that I’ve been blessed with has been phenomenal.
Dr. Peter Pister got me in immediately from a referral in November 2002. He and Dr. Matthew Ballo were a great team. When my cancer reoccurred in Feruary 2004, Dr. Mennen Gallas was called in for plastic work. My awe and appreciation for this man is beyond words.
My cancer reoccurred. I had surgery December 30, 2004. Dr. Valerie Lewis was brought in because it had moved close to the knee. The original flap that Dr. Gallas had put in in February had to be disturbed. We nearly lost it. Through Dr. Gallas ‘ expertise, dedication and many hours of being there for me in the operating room and constantly checking in it while I was in the hospital and during my radiation, the flap was saved. When I returned to my winter home in Tucson, I had some problems with healing and Dr. Gallas suggested going to a wound care center. He has worked with my doctor here and called me to check on my progress. I feel this man has been blessed no only with knowledge and expertise in his field but a wonderful caring attitude that makes him a tremendous asset to MDACC and his patients.
I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I do know I will always be grateful for MDACC and its wonderful care.

Dear Mrs Diane Ladewig/MDACC
This is to inform you that I feel better and that everything is going on well.
But, above all, I wish to thank dr.Gallas and you all for your valid assitance and kindness.
All the physicians who saw me in Italy said that mine is not a “breast reduction” but a “work of art”. I thought it important to inform you of this too.
In this occasion I cannot but remember the terrible fact happened on September 11th for which I really feel very sorry. This is not only for a sense of human solidarity but also for the gratitude I’ll always feel to a country that through you helped me in such a difficult experience. Thanks again to dr. Gallas dr. Saliban and you all. I’ll remember you all forever.
